The Rewind: 'Ted Lasso' is back, Haymitch is back, and somehow 'Deal Or No Deal Island' is back too
Plus "Severance" finale, "The Studio," "Sunrise on the Reaping," and more!
I have made a grave mistake. It turns out last week wasn’t the finale of “Deal Or No Deal Island” after all. It was last night.
Good news: One more episode.
Bad news: My hunch was right and Queen Parv got the boot last week.
It all came down to the Golden God of “Survivor Australia” to beat the Banker in one last game of “Deal Or No Deal” – except the Banker is… Chrissy Teigen??? What the hell, sure. My only question is why did they reveal this on Instagram before the big season finale?
Other News: Middle school Zach is thriving now that the newest “Hunger Games” book, "Sunrise on the Reaping” is out. I’m only a chapter in, but there’s already been an Everdeen, Clerk Carmine and Tam Amber from TBOSAS, young Plutarch, and, of course, young Haymitch.
We have never been more back.
⏪ Rewind: I owe you an apology, Ben Stiller. ‘Severance’ really is that girl.
Last week, I shared my concerns that this season of “Severance” was fooling us all. This week, I’m here to eat my words.
Ben Stiller, I owe you an apology. I wasn’t familiar with your game – except I was, because the first season’s finale was incredible, too.
The final episode of “Severance” Season 2 was just about as perfect as it could be. It delivered answers (but not too many!), it delivered emotional catharsis, and then it ripped your heart out all over again. Well, I guess it depends on which ship you’re on.
Mark-Helly stans were thriving. Mark-Gemma stans thrived for about 2.5 minutes.
It’s been six days now and I’m still constantly thinking about everything that went down. Bravo, Ben Stiller.
I truly don’t know if I’m more Mark-Helly or Mark-Gemma, but one thing I do know is that I’m absolutely Team Milchick.

⏺️ Record: What I want to see in ‘Ted Lasso’ Season 4
Just when we thought we’d said goodbye to “Ted Lasso” — surprise!
Jason Sudeikis is bringing everyone’s favorite mustachioed coach back for Season 4. But should he? I’ve got opinions.
From who shouldn’t return to why Henry Lasso needs to lace up his boots, I’m breaking down exactly what this new chapter needs (and what it absolutely doesn’t).
